Hi Pack Makers - As part of an effort to improve the platform’s security, we’ve made a change to how Packs are shared. From now on, sharing a Pack with an individual user will not take effect immediately; instead, the user will receive an invitation they can accept or decline.
The sharing dialog in the Pack Studio works the same way, but now shows which users have a pending invite:
The email sent to the user includes updated copy noting that they will need to confirm access.
Clicking the button in this email will take you into the approval flow, or you can navigate there by clicking the new Invitations tab in the Packs area of your workspace.
When you open an invitation, you’ll see some basic info about the Pack and who shared it, and you can accept or decline.
This change is live now, and you can test out the sharing system with your own Packs. This change applies only when sharing with an individual user; sharing with your workspace or publishing to the world is not affected. Let us know if you have any questions or feedback.
