Hi,
I’m at wits end.
Company I work with has recently migrated to Sharepoint, this work was done by an outside IT company Jan2025.
I recently on-boarded two new hires, the first of 2025.
We provide them company emails, access to Google Workspace as well as Coda access.
I invited them to our Coda Doc Workspace as I have done for the past 4 years.
For some unexplained reason the Coda invitation link (as invitation or even on sign-up) is not reaching their company inboxes. The email is not in spam or in the back-end blocked messages, it seems to have just disappeared between the time I press ‘invite’ and BEFORE reaching their inboxes.
I’ve tested with other company inboxes (inboxes created pre-migration) and this issue does not occur.
IT is telling me it is a Coda issue. But I highly doubt it as it reaches all other company inboxes without issue. I’m thinking it is these new inboxes (the first since the migration) that are at fault.
I could really use some advice, on next steps. This has already taken me two days to trouble-shoot.
Thank you so much !

I’ve had similar issues in the past. If for any reason Coda is not able to deliver emails to a specific address, after a few tries they kind of ‘black list’ it. If that’s the case, customer support will be able to help you.
Hope this helps,
Pablo

I actually dug up the exchange with Customer Service from a couple of years ago. This is an extract of what they told me:
There are a number of reasons why someone can be on our suppression list, and it’s generally a user-by-user basis and not a global thing. The best thing to do is to reach out to us in these cases so we can take a look, and we can remove any users who are on the list.

Generally if an email is on our suppression list, it’s because the account is really newly setup, or emails from Coda in the past have bounced and/or been marked as spam too many times.
My company also uses Microsoft Outlook and I suspect the issue was that for whatever reason, during the first 24 hours upon creation, the email address was only able to receive internal emails. I created the coda accounts straight-away and that probably caused the bouncing and the inclusion of the accounts on this ‘Suppression list’.

Me too - invites are not coming through with an .ai domain. This is quite frustrating as a new user.
