Please add an undo function to Coda. I keep accidentally typing over a table item and have to remember what I last wrote and rewrite it. I’m amazed the Undo button isn’t standard in Coda.
I learned that Ctrl+Z works a lot of the time, but yes an Undo would be amazing
Top left, click on the three dots
Coda’s undo & redo system is very well done actually, whoever did it deserves some credit
Would you mind giving a screenshot of the options? If I have missed it (which is entirely plausible lol) I would love to learn so I can apologize for thinking it didn’t exist!
Oh sorry for the confusion, but no, I just use Ctrl+Z for undo, and Ctrl+Y for redo
Can you specify what you’re hoping an “Undo” would do? In my mind that’s same as Ctrl+Z
I have had changes I made where Ctrl-Z didn’t work (sorry I cannot recall specifics, but it DID happen lol) so a native Undo would be more likely to revert things correctly.
Oh that’s odd, never happened to me I think. It’s worth mentioning that the undo history is only available for that local tab, so if you refresh it’s lost.
This is really nice though when you’re working on complex docs and you have multiple tabs open with their own undo histories
You can undo even if you refresh. Just use the button at the top left.
I can’t, I’m using chrome, what do you use?
I also use chrome.
