Code blocks in numbered lists

My documents are largely strict procedures for executing commands sequentially in a Linux shell environment. As such, indented code blocks in numbered lists are utterly essential.

With Coda.io, currently, code blocks cannot be indented and therefore break numbered list sequence. I cannot stress enough how inconvenient this is.

Markdown supports this feature natively. Confluence supports it. Cannot Coda.io implement it?

This is the problem:

Same. We make a lot of step-by-step procedures with code snippets and basically can’t use numbered lists. :frowning:

Hey @Aaron_Cutchin and @Chris_Christensen — welcome to the Community!

A workaround for this exists (basically same idea but a numbered instead of collapsible list):

+1 this seems like a really silly limitation.
