I’ve published my doc on a custom domain with doc copy disabled. This, however, also disables users from being able to copy and paste text from the doc on the published site.
Is there a way to disable doc copying while also allowing users to copy and paste text from the published doc?

I admit it a new use case for me, but have you tried to publish in the “playmode” and testing if it is now allowed.
Let’s see if you have the luck, otherwise others might share suggestion based on actual experience 
Setting the doc to play mode was exactly what was needed! Users can now copy-paste and the doc isn’t copiable!
