Hi guys,
Custom domains is a great step in the right direction.
There does not seem to be a way to remove the button bar on mobile / tablet as the primary form of navigation. The responsive design is obviously inherited from the app. Yet the doc mobile navigation options do not work for the custom domain only for normal publishing. Hamburger is required for mobile.
Any ideas?

While this is not possible at this time, this sounds like a feature request the Coda team has been tracking to be able to apply mobile navigation settings for published docs. That said, we have moved this post into the Suggestion Box for other members of the Community to chime in on this. We’ve gone ahead and tracked your vote for this feature formally.
