Embed Audio in database

Hello everyone,

I’d like to use coda to learn a language and in particular I’d like to know if it’s possible to embed an audio directly from a database.

Let’s say i scroll the database and i see a word that i know i often pronounce badly and I’d like to listen to it again, Is it possible to have a play button integrated in the database?

Hey @Giuseppe_Boinega ,

I’m a newbie but I did a little digging and found this old thread:

Also I see that there is a Spotify Pack… But I don’t know if you’d be able to publish your audio files to Spotify.

I’ve got a lot more experience working in Airtable and it is indeed possible there, as mentioned in the above thread. Use the Attachment field type.

Hope this helps!

Yeah, broadly speaking, there isn’t a lot of support for audio playback, aside from what a browser can render in low-code platforms. I tried to build a player that visualised the audio waveform using Pipedream but wasn’t successful - though I’m still a very noobie coder.
