Typing into text fields in the Coda app on Android (including latest OS) is a very frustrating experience. The format bar covers the first line. The cursor constantly moves around. Often when I select text it immediately becomes unselected for no apparent reason. If you could just fix that, it’d make a big difference.

Great you have brought this to the attention of the engineering team. There is another really nasty entry issue: try entering your birthdate in a date field in android. Unless you are really persistent, it is just about impossible, for sure if you are of my generation 
Android has (like IOS) so many native solutions for this, I am sure Coda can fix this,
