Launched: Forms

So I noticed something very odd after successfully adding a few internal forms to my doc. After some time (days, weeks?) the forms no longer display at all. If I show the Title for the view, that shows up, but the form doesn’t appear below it. I can change the view of the table and the data still exists but I can’t find a way to have the form show up again when I switch back to Form view. Entering Full-Screen while in Form view shows only the title of the view and nothing below.

This affects all the forms I created (none of them show any controls anymore). It even affects new forms I try to create. It also seems to crash Coda Mobile when I view any pages with the broken forms.

Anyone else seeing this or know how to solve it?

Hi. Have you tried to access this Doc in another computer?
I have the same issue but only with my personal computer.
I believe you have to clear the cache memory in Chrome.

@Ian_Nicholson that’s strange - mind reaching out to our support via your doc so we can look into this more?

I’ve shared it with Support as you suggested, and left a message with them. By the way, I can confirm that the forms aren’t showing in both Firefox and Chrome, and the Doc crashes in both Android Coda app and Firefox for Android when viewing a page containing one of these forms (I forgot to mention). Clearing cookies and site data for Coda in both Chrome and Firefox did not help on either browser.

I experimented more with this, and it appears to only affect some tables in this Doc (perhaps the more complex tables?). I tried adding a new /Form linked to a very simple table and it seems to work normally (at least, the form displays normally).

I tried making a new Doc with a new Table and I’m not really seeing this problem. Something odd I noticed is that adding a /Form referencing this new form seems to work fine (even if I add a few interesting columns to the table), but if I try to change the table itself to view as a Form it doesn’t show anything, similar to my original problem–but this is the actual table I referenced and not a View. That’s not normal either, right?

Maybe this helps determine the problem: when adding a /Form that doesn’t work right, it does very briefly appear, then vanish. Almost as if a CSS declaration is hiding it or something.

Hey folks,

does anyone else have problems with file upload on mobile for a public form?
The upload keeps spinning but it never actually uploads the file…Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Greg
