How about more international official currency symbols? (ehem ₱)… even Bitcoin has just been supported or how about as general as custom symbol

(PS: Notion supports “more” currency symbols, (supported even years ago)… just saying)

Hungarian Forint in the currency list

When using the API and query a currency column, you get a proper ISO currency code. ie “USD” for dollars “JPY” for Japanese Yen. That is to say that under the hood Coda already supports all currencies. It’s just unfortunate that a decision has been made to not expose these in the UI. I use Chinese Yuan a lot, and while I can get the visual “¥” in the UI, it’s comes through as “JPY” (which shares the same symbol) in the API.

ISO 4217 currency codes no longer recognized for FormatCurrency()

Thanks @Melanie_Teh To workaround that, I am creating two columns, one is the number itself and the other is the formatted one. I am using a currency table with the codes and the symbols. So the formatting is simple (using format()) Cheers, Arnhold
