It is my understanding that, if any of these links (highlighted in yellow) are clicked when publishing a Doc, the affiliate will be credited? Is this correct?
Hello @JTK ,
Here, I don’t think so, but it would be more like inviting a person to join Coda simply.
Then you have a referral system in place and accessible via the referral button in the billing tab.
Best regards,
Thierry
@Thierryvm . Thanks. Hopefully, that can be addressed. As an affiliate, sharing docs would make little sense if there are three links on each doc that does not include the affiliate ID. As an affiliate, I do not want to hide branding, I want to highlight it…and get credit for it.
Hi @Jon_Kay! @Thierryvm is right; if you sign up for our affiliate program, you will receive a custom link that you can share with people, and you’ll be able to earn when they use your link to sign up for Coda. Another option is to earn through published docs, if your published doc’s “sign-up modal” option is enabled (or “earn on this doc” option, if you choose not to register with our affiliate program through PartnerStack). Once you do so, if anyone who is browsing your published doc clicks on the Coda prompt to sign up for an account, you and that person will both earn a $10 credit.
More details on all of this can also be found in our Help Center article “Does Coda offer an affiliate program?”
Hope this helps!
@Ting-Ting_Chen Is there a way to share Docs without Coda branding? Is that what custom form branding is?
Hello @JTK
Yes, you can hide the branding in the edit mode of the form.
Sincerely,
Thierry
