Populate data in a table after choosing ID that could be found in another table

Hi Coda community,

Pretty new to this tool, and now wondering how I can achieve the following.

  1. I have a table named Customers that contains list of customers with the columns such as ID, company name, email and etc.

  2. In the other table, named Feature requests, I’d like to choose an ID, for example 0123, from Customers table and then automatically populate all the columns respectively with the information from Customers table, i.e. company name, email and etc.

Could you share how this could be done please?

Dear @Nurzhan_Ospanov, welcome in the community :handshake:

Great choice that you started with Coda.

I recommend to check-out the template section, copy one of them the nearest to your use case and you will have a good foundation to start from and to see from the lay-out and formulas how everything relates

On example is this one, already with a lot of functionality:

Thanks, @Jean_Pierre_Traets! Checked out the template/doc you have shared, but looks like none of its part covers my use case.

Anyways, thanks for sharing it with me.

Dear @Nurzhan_Ospanov,

Hopeful this will be helpful:
