Hello!
I work for a small women’s rights advocacy organization that tracks developments in around 25 different countries and regions. We currently use Slack to get updates from various sources - Twitter, RSS feeds, e-mail, etc. However, we really need a way to better organize and access the best resources out of the dozens that come through on a daily basis, preferably by individual country and/or specific human rights issue.
After a lot of research, it looks like Coda can be that platform that information, however, figuring out the combination of tools needed to get the messages from Slack (Zapier ----> Google Sheets? → Zapier? → Coda? or something else?) is not something we have the capacity for. I’ve experimented with using reactions in Slack to trigger sending a message to a Coda table, but couldn’t quite get it to work. I also played around with Zapier a bit. There are some additional factors that has made the process a bit trickier - we have several channels that get updated by Slack apps, so the messages are from “bots.” Ideally we would be able to assign multiple reactions to a message and have that one message appear in multiple pages in Coda, etc. It would also be great if I wasn’t the only user who could add the reaction in slack. I think most of my issues are at the other end of the process (not Coda) - but what I’m looking for is someone to develop the entire workflow / doc.
I’m not sure if this is highly complicated, or really quite straightforward, but it would be great to get an idea of how much this sort of project would cost.
We would like it done relatively quickly, as it will immediately be put to use and enable us spend more time on human rights work.
Thank you in advance for any responses!
