How about a section that relates differently to data:
If a section is “report” type, in there, rather than a view of, you insert “fields” of a table.
Then you navigate or set an index, or lookup… and you see one page with the data of one of the records.
This allows for:
- Creating invoices, purchase orders, or other document-like entities from a bunch of data
- Show the data in a very particular format that suits you (very useful for public datasets that view-only people can navigate and in the future somehow interact to through mobile, vote, like, dislike, share…)
It could even be a kind of block, so that you can, for instance, have a doc with several “instances” of a view of a record, like a project portfolio where you can see progress indexes, graphs, etc. for different projects in a table.
