Sync page + select control not working

I have a project where we used different kinds of docs and I have to create another Public doc where I show only the project results to share with the funder and everyone else who is interested.
So this Public doc has several pages where I sync pages from different source docs.
One of them has a table with select controls, but unfortunately I cannot make the select controls working on the Public doc when it is published.

Source doc locking setting is this:

Public doc sharing settings I tried with “Can view” and “Can edit” but neither brought me any success.
Sync page setting is “Everyone in this doc”
Publishing setting I think would be the best to set “Play” but I also tried all of them and the select controls never worked.
Here is the link for the Public doc (Click on the page “Blueprint”) : The Egyesek Method · Egyesek - ProfessionalED

Basically even if I set the locking “Full control” on the source doc + on the Public doc anyone with the link can edit + Publishing setting editing. The select control doesn’t work. :frowning:

Any suggestion how to make it work? Is it even possible with sync page?

:wave:t5: @Tamas_Mahner—always great to hear from you!

While you have this setting on, things like select lists aren’t working yet.

We’re hard at work enabling more interactivity, which means things like select lists, buttons, reactions and so on will work once that update is ready.

For where we are today, the immediate options that come to mind are either leveraging Cross-doc for the doc you’re publishing and sharing more widely, or moving to a simpler model that doesn’t use select lists.

I’m happy to chat more with you if you’d like to dig more into the scenario and options, just let me know, thank you!

Thank you so much for the answer! I just wanted to know if I do something wrong or it is a limitation at the moment. I will figure out another way than
