Tables/Sub-Tables automatically associated with new sections?

So, I know this is probably an unpopular reference but I’m looking to see if there are any creative workarounds for automatically populating a section with fields from a table and a sub-table quickly if we duplicate a “template” section each time we need to have one of these generated.

*PS - is section creation coming being added to the API on the roadmap? :slight_smile:

My first thought is we have our template section that has some sort of filter control that will allow me to “search” or select any rows from a table in the future (there are dates in the rows that would be selected).

Once you search or select the correct row in the newly duplicated section it would populate a set amount of fields based on what we configure in our template.

I think that’s the closest thing to “automation” that I may be able to get but I’m unable to figure it out.
