@shishir I’m glad and also a bit excited to hear that. Maybe you can share some insights/sneak peaks of hackathons here or on your medium blog from time to time.
On the hover state, at first I thought about additional parameters like =hyperlink(url, text optional, target optional, allowhover optional) but even better could be a =webhook(url, text, param1, value1, param2, value2,…) function that, on click, does fire the webhook in the background without opening a new window. Maybe this could open up a lot of ways to easily interact with APIs out there.
I guess it is very hard to implement a lot of this features (especially for some us nerds here :D), and still keep the simplicity & beauty, so that everyone out there feels comfortable and safe using Coda.
Sorry for the delay in responding. We’re still making a few tweaks before we open up the Zapier beta but I will add you to the list of interested folks. For other lurkers in the Coda community who are also interested, we’ll give an early heads up here when it’s ready to go!
Apologies for missing this message in the broader thread. I’m adding you to our list of beta testers for the Zapier integration. We’re wrapping up a few finishing touches on the app and then we’ll get you access. Looking forward to having you try it out.
These image buttons are clickable like regular links, but won’t show previews. Obviously still a hack, but hopefully improves the experience a bit in your scenario.
This thread’s been a bit quiet but just wanted to pop back into this thread to share that we’ve launched our initial iteration of buttons! (more details in your email). Would love to get all of your thoughts!
Hello @preeyanka !
I just saw the mail and I was like WOOOO!!
This is a great new feature.
I found a bug (dropped you a message via intercom) : my table select list options are blank! So I can’t know what I’m selecting
I’ll play with those buttons the next few days, but I’m very happy
La Croix, you mean, the french catholic newspaper?
This is where @jaime could help us a lot with a new Row Detail awesome view!!!
I’m especially thinking about filtering details in the view to avoid seeing too much fields (hidden and/or non wanted fields) for quick row addition.
Perhaps settings could be added to the button for row details options?
You’ve definitely hit on a conversation we’ve been having internally and we’re actively looking to see how users can get access to the views of rows that are most useful (with the non-useful pieces filtered out). As you mentioned, @jaime is leading a lot of thinking around this.
