I’ve been testing out what it might be like to use Coda to create digital books. One thing I’ve noticed is that image inserts can be really wonky, especially on mobile, when paired with columns of text.
To improve this, I’d like to see some additional functionality added in for the Cover Image page option where I can decide where I want the cover image to appear on the page. If Top is selected, then it would be a horizontal banner image like cover images currently are, but if Left or Right are selected, it would instead be a vertical banner occupying the side of the page selected by the user.
It’s a minor addition compared to many others suggested here, but it’s one that could really elevate projects focused on providing a book-like experience for viewers.
