Why i can't just paste normal text into my page

i try to copy text from my WordPress site’s blog post and just paste it into my page as i found this site as a good replacement but ctrl+v or right click paste don’t do anything

Hi Eyal,

When I struggle with copy and paste, i paste it into something generic like Word. If it works, I know that the problem is with the paste. If it doesn’t, I know the problem is with the copy.

only on this site it doesn’t work and pasting to word and re-copy it to coda didn’t worked

Edit: i tried on chrome and it’s working, only firefox not working
it would be great if you will support firefox for such basic feature
