Hey community. I regularly copy/paste text from other documents into Coda. Recently (this week), when i “paste” into Coda, nothing happens.
I’ve tried to paste it into Notepad first, that didn’t work.
I’ve reset my browser several times.
No way I can manually deal with this, is there a fix I’m missing?
Could i have disabled something accidently on my keyboard that blocks pasting text within Coda?
Thank you for the suggestion, but that’s not it. I can’t paste in any documents or tables.
I will continue shooting a bit in the dark, we need more context to help you:
Does this happen with all docs? Are you working in a workspace with multiple people? Are you a doc maker? Have you tried another browser?
All docs, all pages, subpages (just started happening). I’m the only person in the workspace and i’m the doc maker. I’ve tried chrome, Edge and Safari. I set all of my browsers back to factory + cleared all history etc. I can’t tell if it’s a Coda issue, Browser, Keyboard (reset that too).
Can you share a dummy doc from your workspace to see if it is a coda issue that is related to your workspace? Also a screen recording to see the behavior. In the end, please feel free to reach Coda support as that ill allow them to guide you first hand.
