Please give us the ability to copy columns to other tables.
I’m not just talking about column values from a column, I’m talking about the entire column(s), including their conditional formatting, formulas, types and such to other tables.
This is useful for me as I have a page with multiple tables for different groups, and when I want to add a new column for all tables, I have to do it for each table individually including all the formatting and such which is extremely tedious.
Is there anything preventing you from having all those different groups in the same table and creating views for them?
For organisation purposes, I prefer separate tables.
This is a basic feature that should have been added ages ago.
Google Sheets can do it, so can Excel and other similar sites.
Coda is not a spreadsheet, therefore you should not expect it to work like a spreadsheet. If you do you will continuously frustrate yourself.

I am not using it as a spreadsheet. I just said that it is something that can be done in other software which make use of tables.
I think what Pablo_DV and Piet_StrydomCommunity Champion are saying is that it seems you are constructing your doc with spreadsheet principals in mind (Google Sheets/Excel) when Coda is not designed to work that way.
Coda works more like a database and what they are suggesting is to approach your issue with database best practices in mind instead of spreadsheet best practices. I learned the hard way that it will make your life easier when following this approach.
