Currently, if you want multiple calendar views of the same table, you can only have one Display Column display in the calendar view. However, sometimes you have one calendar where you want to display one column, and in another calendar view of the same table, you want to display another column.
For example, perhaps in one calendar you want to display the task name, but in another calendar you want to display the Person’s name.
Right now I see no mechanism to do that with a calendar or gantt view.

I agree with this observation. I guess the solution would be to allow views of a table to have their own display column.

Agree, this is not just calendars. I have lots of use cases where I’d like to customize what’s shown on the chip in calendars, tables…

I completely agree with this suggestion and was about to create a similar post myself. In many of my projects, my chosen display column for the table contains information that isn’t particularly useful for a calendar view. Having the ability to choose a specific display column for each calendar view would greatly enhance their utility. This feature would allow us to tailor the displayed information to suit the context of each view, making our calendars more informative and user-friendly.
In my case i manage a social media calendar. we have a due date where the content needs to be done and then the publish date. we have to make 2 calendars to view these 2 different dates because Coda can only interpret 2 dates as a span, not as 2 dates.
Please rework the calendar, it needs some upgrades.
Not useable for a lot of usecases like this
