Context: Building a recommendation database and want to use the reaction button to get a gauge of how many others also recommend an item, but worried it’ll be treated as a “like” button. My goal is to have a button that when pressed, upvotes for that user and adds to our count.
Hey @Sara_Jean_Kwapien and @Brendan! This sounds like a feature request the Coda team has been tracking. That said, we have moved this post into the Suggestion Box for other members of the Community to chime in on this. We’ve gone ahead and tracked your votes for this feature formally.
Now that I know this is a suggestion box entry, I’d add that in addition to the setup I provided, I would love to be able to have this so I can also change other fields when the reaction is pressed (e.g. a date field to keep record of the most recent vote.)
