Is there a way to cause a reaction to be pushed from a button in the same row? E.g. I want to have a button that performs a number of actions based on data in the row. One of those actions would be to push the reaction button. I’ve tried saying RunActions(thisRow.Reaction = true, ...) and RunActions(thisRow.Reaction.RunActions(),... but haven’t found any way to make it work yet. Has anyone encountered this?

Reaction column is like “people column”, so if you want to change it, use this formula. But be careful, it will just simulate the fact that the CURRENT USER make a reaction.
Once you’ve understood this, you can use the people of a column or anywhere you want to add multiple reaction at once :
