Copy / share layouts between views

I’ve seen a few threads on this but didn’t quite understand the answer.

I have several views on a table. I would like to have each of them open to the same layout when a row is expanded.

There seems to be a way to duplicate a layout within a view, but not to share or even copy a layout between views. This seems unfortunate in most cases. Why not allow shared layouts within views of the same table?

This is easy to achieve: for each view, expand a row and just select the same layout.

What is a bit more complex is to use different layouts for the same view depending on the context.

Thanks, I accidentally duplicated the database which is why the layouts weren’t showing.

It’s WAY to easy to duplicate databases accidentally, something you’d almost never want to to do.
