Creating Lookups from imported spreadsheet data

I’m a new Coda user migrating from Notion, and I’ve got a question. I’m creating a donor database for a nonprofit. I’ve got two basic tables that I plan to use to create reports of various types: an “offerings” table that will be data from an Excel spreadsheet and list all monetary donations, and a “contributors” table which will have basic info about those making the donations.

The tables (which come from another, more ornery database), are linked by ID numbers for each contributor, and so my question is: how do I create a lookup (or lookups) that connect these tables? Please let me know if this doesn’t make sense and I’d be glad to provide more context.
