Adding sync pages and full page embeds works well for many cases, but several resources I use do not embed without breaking (even with compatibility mode toggled on). It would be idea to add these to the doc navigation sidebar. That is, instead of adding a new page, add a new external link with a similar appearance of a new page.

Hey @droneprof, welcome!
Lots of websites unfortunately disallow being embedded, I’m afraid Coda can’t do much about this.
Coda uses a service called Iframely, they have a little dashboard here where you can check if a website works to embed

Thanks for the welcome and response, @Rickard_Abraham !
I understand that embedded content is generally unavailable for sites that redirect for login (even if it works, the third party cookies are a mess). What would be nice would be a fourth option for adding “pages” to a doc
- New page
- New sync page
- New page embed
- New external hyperlink
The hyperlink would appear as a page, but route the user to an external resource. For transparency, the link could include an [External] tag.
