I seem to have some problem with how coda works or I cannto wrap my head around proper use of lookups.
So my case is - I have one table called “Features” -> where I have two columns “Feature” and “Quarter”.
Then I have another table called “Resource allocation” . I unerstand that I can make a lookup, even a filtered lookup, so that I have a dropdown to choose only from the right items from the Feature column - that is great.
But this does not prevent me from omitting an item. I don’t want the users to choose from the right items -> I want to create a table/view for the resource allocation, which automatically creates rows for all items from “Feature” table which meet certain filter criteria. So each time I assign a feature to a given quarter I automatically have to fill in the resources in that given quarter…
