Formula Help with filters

I have a table with a lookup column that generates student names that are required for a specific project and another column with a dropdown select list where I can mark who was present. I want to have a third column that shows the list of people who were needed but did not attend. I tried a few different filters but I didn’t get anything to work yet.

In human language its like saying:

  • Hey Coda, can you filter through the Student Name list and find all the names where that same value is IN the list called Present - Now that youve found all the names that are the same between the two lists, just give me the OPPOSITE of that, aka the ones not in that list
