Checking on if Google Group function can be used with external user?
For example, a doc maker admin is using a#company#com with google suite to login to Coda, a Google Business group group#company#com is created and added with a#company#com (the admin) and b#outlook#com (external user).
However when I add group#company#com to a doc access, the b#outlook#com cannot view the doc correctly.
Thanks for reaching out. As we discussed in another conversation, every user who is a member of the group must sign in via Google OAuth. So if the external user doesn’t have a Google account, this won’t work for them.
It should also be noted that by default, Google blocks access to Google Groups if the user’s domain doesn’t match that of the organization.
