How do I apply formatting to a table with grouped columns and rows?

Hello! I have a table of transactions and they’re grouped vertically by month and horizontally by category. I’d like to:

  1. Apply zebra striping to the table so it’s easier to read when I have more grouped rows and grouped columns.
  2. Apply conditional formatting so I can colour-code the highs and lows of each column and row.

Hey @Fanda_H,

Here is a great post from the community on this!

Row color by color.

There are some additional posts in the community that go over changing color and using conditional formatting. The basic way to do this would be to create a column with a simple checkbox that when select will apply coloring to a row.

Hope those options help!

Best,
Dan
