How to design custom looking buttons?

Saw a tutorial on the coda youtube channel.

Im very beginner at using coda.

How do I customize button looks?

I see people making square and circle buttons with icons. I see the icons in the settings but that just puts the icon next to a default rectangle button which asks for text.

Here’s a template that’s a list of some of my other templates with a button using emojis. This is done as a formula in the “Label” field for the button settings. Just type = to prompt the formula builder, then you can get creative.
