Issue: Extra newlines when copied from Google Docs

Hello everyone,

I’m in the process of re-organizing documentation that was formally in Google Docs. However, when I copy and paste from Google Docs to Coda, every newline is duplicated (screenshots).

So, I either need to paste in raw (shift + cmd +v) and re-format all the styles and links, or manually delete each newline.

Any suggestions?

Hey @Alex_Ruiz,

Great question. You should be able to use the Google Doc importer to get the data into the Coda Doc then you can move it freely from there! You shouldn’t see any of the format issues that way. Hope that helps.
