Are there any plans to enhance / modernize layout options? The current feature set is extremely limited and does not enable a polished user experience for complex docs. There are numerous strings within the community board with requests…
The above strings were found during a quick search, so I am guessing there are dozens of other such examples.
The refreshed experience, while nice, only addresses the tip of a large iceberg of opportunities. Are there plans for more enhancements in the immediate term?

why are your icons so disgraceful / look like child 2010s’ icons, while notion’s icons are so elegant? you have just 8 icons that are visible all day long (Home, Search, Notifications, Toggle sidebar, Share, Insert, Comments, •••), at least make those great, please

And same for page icons/doc icons, why does notion and everybody uses mac icons, and you are using a horrible custom library from the 2020s’ that is making coda look as an horrible old tool, while it’s amazing! While we live at the age of genmojis, there are amazing free genmojis libraries online, that are 1000x more beautiful than these, it would be so game changing, it would make coda fully modern !

Tabs for Tables
Can we have tabs for tables? I have too many views and it clusters my pages and documents.
You don’t have to introduce a new feature for this.
An alternative will be to allow the navigation panel to be at the top of the table (currently its only either left or bottom).

I’m a heavy user of Coda and after a month of the new interface, I have to say, I’m not a fan. I find the search functionality to be very inefficient and cumbersome and the removal of “Recents” and “Favorites” from the nav bar has made it even more challenging to navigate. I just found the Recents search on the Home page today but where in the world is “Favorites”? Please add those two back to the main nav window on the left.

Thanks, @anon1959570. I don’t see “Bookmarked for Me” but I was able to find “My Shortcuts” on the home page if I navigate to my company’s workspace. It’s so much more convenient to have it above the Folders in the left-hand navigation bar. Please consider adding it back there. Seems small but the amount of time and clicking adds up. Thank you!
