Relation table and Add New value

Recent Airtable convert here so pardon my ignorance if this is a simple fix.

Two tables, relation linked together. Table A (Action Figure) is adding a new row to Table B (Accessories). Each Figure can have multiple accessories. The issue is when I try to add a new Accessory with the same name.

I don’t care about unique values in table B as they can be identified by the Figure they are linked too. I can achieve the desired result by editing the Accessory table directly, but I can’t seem to create a new entry from the Figures table if that name is not unique. Airtable gave you the option to reference an existing entry, but also create a new one on the fly with the same name.

In the below example, there should be two entries labeled Proton Pack on the Accessory table, one for each figure.

Is there an easy way to add these from the Figures table?
Many thanks.

Can you please share the doc:

Whoops, rookie move. Should be public now.

It could be as simple as allowing creation of new entries in the edit column settings:

Thanks @Piet_Strydom

Yes I do have the option enabled. If I enter a unique value, it can be added fine. It’s only if I want to use a dupe name that the create option is gone.

In some more testing, when using Card View, this is achievable, if you set the Accessories field to Display as : Table. The Create New option appears even when using a duplicate name.
