Rows added to table using runactions not populating on modified on column

I have table A with a button that adds rows to table B.
Table B has modified on and created on columns.

Rows being added to B from A using the button are not showing in the two columns above

I think sharing a sample doc reproducing the issue you’re encountering would be helpful here
