It depends.
There are formula to find parts of text in a string, or in a list. There are formulas that can remove pieces of a string or list. And other formulas that can recombine strings and lists.
However there is not a search and replace formula.
You would also need to determine the scope of your homegrown search and replace formulas, e.g. a column, set of columns or all tables.
