Summing up, the search box that returns everything hidden was reported first in 2020, more than 3 years now. According to the message nothing has changed since then.
Not even the inclusion of a popup message “beware, whatever you try to hide will be shown to all users anyway”. A “hide” & “show” features dispute that stopped in the middle of the road in 2020.
Very happy to have seen this problem before an actual data leak as this can be VERY emabrassing. 
No gift this morning under the tree this morning Let’s keep some hope. I will ask this next year again
