Very unpleasant new visuals for auto-populated fields - any way to change?

Coda looks very different to me today: It seems every auto-populated/calculated field is shown in a grey lozenge?

This is really unpleasant and makes it much less readable. I get you might want to highlight editable fields more, but I don’t think this is the way to go. Is there any way to revert to the previous styling??

hi @James_Naylor ,

I don’t see it when I use a simple concatenate like below.

what are the formulas you have set up?

cheers, Christiaan

Its very strange but today… its gone entirely!!

Seemed to be for every formula? A bug possibly? Something Coda were trying?

hi @James_Naylor , good to know it is solved for now, maybe it was a test and they noticed unexpected behavior  Coda keeps updating, so we should not be surprised to notice here and there some changes, most of them are rather pleasant, it seems to me. cheers, christiaan

Hi Christiaan! Indeed… sadly back again. But not on my colleagues computer, just mine.

Same doc, same page in each case.

On the whole I would agree - the changes are great! Not sure about this one

I’m going to ty updating the browser just in case somehow this is only on my end?

Can we unsolve this please?

done
I am afraid it is not a general issue.

Interesting. It’s also now showing on my colleagues computer. Different machine (though also windows 11 and Chrome). and also changed since yesterday… which is quite odd!
