Hi! So i have a set of data for school projects displayed in card view, and one of my visible columns is a checkbox that says “done” to show that a project is finished. But, although I can open the page and check the box, it remains checked. When i close the page and look at it in card view, the box is unchecked. and when i click it it does not check the box.
As you can see in the photos, in the first one, the Music lab assignment has the done box, but it is unchecked. But when I open it, it is checked. The same can be said for the rest of them. Is there a way that I can check off the boxes from the card view?

it should work as you expected i.e. check off box in card view will also reflect in detail view.
would you mind sharing your doc for us to troubleshoot?
from your screenshot (last one), there is a red triangle above the check box (this means there is an error)… so will need to investigate further specific to your doc to help you 
but if i were to hazard a guess.. try putting the checkbox in your detail view not on the first line. Not sure which detail layout you are using, but i believe its cos the checkbox is being treated as a header type/image thing on first line.
