Connect a table on different docs

I have a table in one doc and want to copy paste the same table in a different doc. Whatever change is made in the table in either doc, it should reflect everywhere. The filters should not be synced.

Hi @Medha_Ahuja , what about a cross doc with the two way sync activated?
There is a limit of 10K rows
In case view only is enough, you can make use of the sync pages

My page has multiple tables, but I just want to sync only table1. How to do that?
Somehow when I type /table, I can’t see the connect table option.

hi @Medha_Ahuja ,
install the cross doc pack in the target doc, select the source doc, then the table, use the filters to show the columns and rows you want to display and off you go. May this be too difficult, then I am afraid I am out of options

I tried this but the table view is without colors and looks bad. No distinction of filters is visible.

the color logic I cannot fix for you, but you may want to take a look at the (advanced) settings to understand how to filter rows and hide columns, but I am afraid that since you are in love with beauty, this won’t work for you

Can someone from Coda community help here?

er…
@Christiaan_Huizer is one of the leading members of the Coda Community, and he has given you help with this.

It is not possible to solve the issue with the colors using cross-doc, you must encode that yourself in the other document.

if you need more help. you will need to
(a) ask specific questions showing which parts you need help with
and
(b) provide us with a sample document illustrating what you are working on.

if you need somebody to build a solution, then you can hire a Coda Expert here…

we are keen to help here in the community if you can define more precisely what the questions are.

That’s fine. But the solution isn’t aligning with my question. There’s a way to create views of table which are two way synced. I tried with that approach for my tables, and it worked. But if I try to do the same for pages which are shared with me, then the same isn’t happening.
