Copy subtable to multiple views?

How do I make the same subtable appear in multiple view layouts?

My current process is tedious and needs to happen every time I modify the subtable:

  1. Show subtable in a view layout.
  2. Turn on the columns needed in that subtable.
  3. Go to view layout #2, repeat steps #1 -2.
