How to filter all rows with same text in one column, based on data in a different column in one of the rows

Hi Codans!

I’ve created a simplified table as an example for what I’m trying to do.

I want to create a filter formula for this table that states: If any row with the same type has a checkbox marked, then all rows with that type are filtered out of the table. So for the example table, all rows with “apple” and “orange” will be filtered out of the table.

Does anyone have ideas for how to implement this? I’ve tried a few formulas with no luck so far.

Thanks!
Reiley

There might be an easier way to do it, but Im slammed today and this is the first thing I came up with! Hope it helps

@Scott_Collier-Weir Woohoo!! Thank you for your formula suggestion. It works perfectly in my more complex table. This is a game-changer for us! I hope you have a great day!
