Show and Tell: Quick Capture

Hello!

I am tweaking my all-encompassing tracking/todo work doc to include a large, front-and-center quick capture (think GTD inbox). My intention is to be able to:

  1. click a box
  2. enter in some text
  3. have it disappear for sorting in another location

My initial thought is a ui similar to apple’s spotlight search. Just a single box that you can type in (but I know I’m limited to coda’s UI, which is pretty good!).

Does anyone have anything they’ve already built or any good ideas?
