Sort Table by Table Order of Lookup Column

Hello there!
It would be great to have Sort by Source Table Order option available in a lookup column.

I made multiple sort in the source table of a lookup column and wanted to sort by the order of the source, but the option is not there, it only shows Ascending and Descending. It was a bit cumbersome because I had to import the columns I used for the original sort to apply the same sorts.

I need this feature for Select Lists, also! It’s frustrating that I can’t sort based on the Select List order I’ve established.
Would be very useful for Task/Project Status (done items auto-sort to bottom) in particular. But I have a lot of different use cases I could think of.
