I have created a doc that would definitely makes more sense if I only showed some columns for a set of users and not all users. For example, buttons that should only be available for an admin user. I can disable the buttons based on some values, but ideally I would like to hide the columns that has the buttons.

There are some creative ways, that are not that obvious on the surface, to make the view of your doc depending on the rights of the user. (I have to mention that it’s also depending on your plan!)
